please review the process and steps we take to ensure a smooth road from the first meeting through complete installation.
customer information. when interested in having fairfield bid for your custom cabinetry job, please submit name, address of the site and the billing address [if different], phone numbers and email. along with a set of plans [if applicable] or set up an appointment with our staff to have a field measure completed. this will let us know who to bill, how to apply tax and who to contact with questions.
preliminary shop drawings. when a job is drawn and bid, we will issue you sets of preliminary shop drawings. the price quoted includes two (2) sets of preliminary shop drawings. additional drawings and revisions will be done at the rate of $75.00 per set/meeting.
final shop drawings. final shop drawings will be completed and submitted to client approx ten (10) working days after final measurements have been taken provided all client selections have been submitted. all final shop drawings must be initialed by client to proceed.
final detail sheets. these will be created with the job site final measurements and client selections. final detail sheets will be completed and submitted to client approx ten (10) working days after final measurements have been taken and provided all client selections have been submitted. all final detail sheets must be initialed by client to proceed.
installation. after the client approves the final shop drawings and the final detail sheets we will schedule the installation start date with the client. installations will be scheduled for "the week of _______". any changes made to the project after the final shop drawings are approved will result in a re-schedule of installation. cabinets will generally be available for installation between 6 to 8 weeks from the time final shop drawings are approved.
